Roll Studio is looking for a Project Manager to join our team to work on a variety of digital projects.

About You:

The Project Manager at Roll Studio can demonstrate outstanding talents and achievements, as well as relevant experience and interests. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter with strong problem-solving, influencing and negotiation skills. You’ll be working closely with our clients as well as coordinating with our creative and technical teams as the primary point of contact to successfully deliver projects in line with agreed scope, timelines and budgets. You’ll have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, and you’ll be able to anticipate challenges and risks to ensure the smooth running of projects.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Scoping, quoting & planning upcoming projects
• Managing clients from the initial briefing until the end of a project’s life cycle
• Ensuring project objectives are met, whilst controlling scope, budget and timelines
• Working with designers during UX & UI stages and managing their workflow
• Briefing the development team and monitoring progress on web & app builds
• Helping with pitch documents as well as attending presentations when required
• Collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team comprising UX/UI Design, Front and Back End Development, and QA, both local and remote
• Tracking projects and assessing risk and impact from implemented changes and appropriately managing escalation of issues to the correct stakeholders
• Proactive management of internal cross-project tracking systems to ensure they are kept up to date and accurate at all times
• Support the business commercially by ensuring all projects are resourced with both profitability and quality in mind
• Drive and facilitate agile processes, create roadmaps and user tests.
• CMS training for clients on specific web projects

 

You should be able to demonstrate:

• You are a self-starter, confident with excellent communication skill
• Managing digital projects from the beginning until delivery
• Outstanding attention to detail, method, and excellent time management skills
• Confidence to brief design and development teams and convey requirements in a precise manner
• A strong understanding of the design and development process
• Ability to give input into the technical planning of the project and then to schedule, allocate resources and brief relevant design and development teams
• Managing projects that include a CMS
• Managing digital products, Scrum Certificate is a plus
• Working with numerous stakeholders, and resolving conflicting interests when necessary, while maintaining the integrity of the project
• Enthusiasm for the potential application of new technologies
• AR/VR is a plus
• Producing project documentation
• Web testing using actual devices, virtual machines or emulators
• Experience in working with project management software such as Asana, Jira/Confluence, Notion and design tool such as Figma

Our team in the Italian office in Avellino is looking for a talented Web Developer who will be responsible for developing websites, and apps.

The chosen candidate will work with best in class creative, technical, media and analytics talents coordinating innovation in the interactive space, contributing to bringing brands to the forefront through innovative thinking and cutting-edge technologies.

Skills:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Experience and knowledge of HTML5/CSS3
• Knowledge of JavaScript (ES7), react.js
• Experience with building tools like webpack, post-css, Babel
• Experience with responsive web design, browser and device testings
• Experience with git
• Accuracy, passion and the ability to work on different tasks simultaneously
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team; to work well under pressure; highly reliable
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English (the team is international and English is the official Roll language 😉 )

Preferred

• Experience with HTML5 canvas, WEBGL, animations
• Experience with Django and Python
• Experience with PHP (Yii, Laravel, WordPress)
• Experience with React Native, vue.js
• Experience in doing simple administrative tasks through shell environment on linux servers

Plus

We have up to £80,000 GBP per annum for this role depending on experience.

We are a remote first company, with occasional visits required to client sites, or our offices in either London, UK and Avellino, Italy. English is our official working language. You can choose to be “based” in either location (for tax purposes; residency permitting).

• Excellent communication skills;
• Confidence  working with remote teams as well as independently
• Experience in working on large scale system designs and prototyping experience.  
• Familiarity in Figma and Adobe CC;
• 1-3 years of experience designing websites and products from conception through to production.
