The Art of Ping Pong: warming up for round 3.

By Clare Anderson on September 24, 2015

We’ve got another worthwhile event close to our hearts for our little Beacon’s to add a little magic to.

Our friends at FiveFootSix are putting on The Art of Ping Pong charity auction for BBC’s Children in Need again in 2015, and we’re excited to join in for another round of mixed-doubles as their digital partner.

This year’s collection features works by artists such as Anthony Burrill, Noma Bar and Paul Catherall, and we’re excited to be working with The Cass University, selecting one talented student to be a part of the prestigious line up.

The project began in 2013, with 10 artists taking part, and raised £1,000 for BBC Children in Need. This figure more than tripled to £3,500 in 2014, when 21 artists were featured in an exhibition at Beach London’s unique gallery space on Brick Lane.

The artworks for 2015 will be exhibited at KK Outlet; launching on the 5th November and continuing throughout the month. You can keep up to date with the project’s progress and get involved in the online auction by following @TAOPP_LDN on Twitter and using the hashtag #theartofpingpong. Oh and don’t forget to save the date - the auction begins Thursday 5th November 2015.
