Day by day and meeting after meeting, the dedication of the team grew and we became more and more aware of the given opportunity to work on something outstanding. We believed in the potential of the project since the very beginning, and we don't want to brag, but hey, we were right! :-)
Despite the project going live over a year ago, we still keep receiving multiple awards and nominations, as well as compliments from all over the world from various kinds of authorities.
The bronze won at the Lovie Awards (considered the younger sister of the Webby Awards) stands out among the others and has resulted in Mix The City to be published on www.lovieletters.eu. As told by the Google curators, LovieLetters.eu “is a collection of unique, behind the scenes stories that puts you in the heads of the people responsible for Europe's best and most challenging digital thinking”.
We feel extremely grateful, not only Because Webby Awards is one of the oldest contests on the Internet and has got an amazing panel of judges, but especially because it means that our project is in the top 20% of all work entered (and there were more than 13,000 submissions from all over the world!).
Seeing “Roll Studio” and “Mix The City” alongside the projects that we really love, such as Boiler Room TV, FKA Twigs, Billboard.com, makes us very proud.
Thanks from the bottom of our heart to British Council Israel and Flying Object for choosing Roll Studio as their partner for this awesome adventure, the adventure that is far from its end: look out for new cities joining the “Mix the City” project!
